If you really want to be a loser at online gambling, there are a few things you should know:

• first of all, you should absolutely NOT do any research. Just pick the first online casino that you see, or choose them based on how cool the website looks. You might pick a good one by accident, but it’s far more likely that you’ll get a bad online casino. This is essential, because a good casino will actually pay you when you win, and provide customer support if you need it. A bad casino will just take your money and disappear, which would make you a loser no matter how you do on the games!

• If you must compare, avoid objective reviews and honest reports from past customers. There are a number of reviews out there that are nothing more than advertising and marketing, so those are probably fine to use because they won’t tell you anything that doesn’t sell the product. And whatever you do, don’t TALK to anyone who has played at online casinos…unless you’re planning to ignore their advice and/or repeat their mistakes.

• Do NOT read the T&Cs (Terms and Conditions). These dastardly documents will tell you exactly what to expect, all spelled out and legally enforceable. On the good side (for us losers), sometimes they tell you exactly how the casino can screw you, which makes it easier to pull a loser move — like taking a huge welcome bonus and then only playing games that will totally fail to fulfill the playthrough requirements…

• …or like being a US gamer and playing at one of the online casinos US players aren’t allowed at.  If you happen to be playing from an IP address within the United States, avoid  US online casinos like the plague. That’s an especially good loser move, because the online casino can and will deny all of your winnings if they discover you’ve been playing from a restricted country!).

WARNING: “read the T&Cs” is not a foolproof tip, because there are plenty of bad casinos that use T&Cs but don’t really adhere to them anyway. If you’d avoided them thinking that they were a legitimate online casino, you’d have missed out on many chances to lose!
